Week 76
Hello All!!!
HAPPY MOTHERs DAY TO YOU ALL!!!!! Mothers are just amazing right?! What a blessing it is for me to be raised by such a righteous, loving, Christ-like woman of God! My mother is an angel. :) LOVe YA MOM!!!! xoxox
This week was another big trial week for us and for Josie. A lot of our investigators are dropping and right now we are almost empty handed. It has been a big faith stretching experience for me. We are trying to purify ourselves so that we can be more sensitive to His promptings because as Preach My Gospel says,"Their understanding will be influenced by your personal worthiness." so we are trying to clean the vessel within and build our faith more because "faith proceeds the miracle." (i think that is the wron spellin of proceeds....sorry. ;P) The mission is truly a refiners fire. So much to learn and do on a mission! :) Its awesome!
So with Josie....Jay(her husband) past away early Sunday morning. We got a text at like 4:30amsaying that he was gone. When we visited Josie we asked what happened because he was improving a lot. She said,"He just gave up. It was his time." *sigh* Its been hard, but lots of beautiful experiences that Josie and I have both had. I know i have said this Many times before but GOD HAS A PLAN. and we need to trust in His plan. He is all knowing and all understanding. Part of this life is to learn to "walk by faith rather than by sight." -PMG. :)
